If the OE clamp are ok then reuse them. But don't over torque them and cut the rubber.
Likely the bolts need cleaning and some silicone as lube and rust prevent where you are. Silicone won't ""eat" rubber if get on hoses.

many SS worm clamps even sold by auto parts places are poorly made.

I agree most new clamps are junk. But I also come from the place where if a bolt or nut goes through 1 winter it needs to be replaced when removed.

If they are rusty replace them, they are wear items IMO.

EDIT: Stainless worm-drive clamps are ok for new soft rubber when you're planning on flushing coolant after a winter or something when you need to re-use them after some corrosion time. Otherwise if your fine with set it and forget it, just get the cheap ones and replace them when needed. If you want to remove them 30 years from now and re-use them then there are aviation grade stainless clamps that are fantastic but the price follows performance.

I use constant tension clamps from Belmetric on all my 1-1/4" hoses. They are reasonably priced and work very well.

Many car makers use this type of "spring clamp" too.

Southern car often can reuse many parts.

constant tension clamps are much less likely too overtighten and damage a hose. They are an absolute must if you use the expensive silicone hoses.
