AC blend door spring (Page 1/1) Duck 1 AUG 01, 04:18 PM On my 88 GT I removed the blend door motor and found a small spring just hanging from the top pf the blend door. Larry Hubert did some research and took photos for me .He found the spring attaches to a small clip or arm where the top pivot rod attaches to the blend door. The from his photos you can see where one side attaches to the door rod. I can not see what the other end hooks to. I was told that it attaches to the AC duct housing, but where does it hook on to, To describe the spring it is 4" long with a hook on either end and the coil part in the middle is 1/4 " in diameter. Larry has tracked down where it goes on the top but I can not find a clear photo of where and how it attaches to the other end. If anyone has any clear photos I would be very grateful to get to see them, As always, thanks for any help
