Actually, 3.4L replaced stock 2.8 which may make a difference regarding A/C compressor options.
Did I not read in the Forum there are now available smaller, more efficient, less drag on engine, A/C compressors available? If so, where can I order one and how much of a problem to mount on 3.4 engine?
As always, thank you!

Also keep in mind you will be changing refrigerant's, R12 to R134a so a lot of o rings will need to be changed out.

No issues on my 3.4l.
The only issue I had was I had to change the mounting for the bracket as my 3.4l block was missing a mounting point or something (I used the 3.4l HT crate engine from GM - not the Camaro). I would have to crawl back under the car and have a look.
I don't know what compressor is there now (it was replaced when the shop determined it was bad), but it looks very similar to the original unit, but now runs R134A.[This message has been edited by Mickey_Moose (edited 10-13-2023).]
