Battery drainage issue (Page 1/1)

Here’s what the mechanic said

Your electrical leak is still there, we don’t really know what causes it, but we checked everything we could. We’d suggest you to go to the sound shop where you installed the speakers, or to an electrician who can dig deeper into it

I sent you a picture of the measurements, it’s supposed to be at 0 when the ignition is off, but every 20 seconds it jumping up to 8ish for some reason

I installed the radio with a wiring harness and didn’t have issues before they changed the gas tank. Any ideas?!

open hood.
Does HL Motor(s) get warm or hot? Twitching every X seconds?
Gen1 Motors have problems & causing breaker in them to cycle.

Unplug the motors should stop motor "twitching" & battery drain.

No help?
See https://web.archive.org/web...rocave/bat_leach.htm
& get DC Amp Clamp meter.
Example: https://www.amazon.com/UNI-...rement/dp/B00O1Q2HOQ

Many Amp Clamps are AC only for the clamp so watch specs before buying/using other meters.

I agree the head light motors are a problem child.
Unplug the blue wire to each motor.
See if the problem stops.
