87 GT cranks but wont start (Page 1/1)

I was daily driving my fiero for several months after I had it at a shop because it was running rough. They replaced the fuel pump, distributor, and fuel injectors and adjusted timing. I let it sit for a few weeks while I dailyed my truck and then when I drove the fiero again, it was running really rough and one of the headlights stopped coming up. Since then, I haven’t driven it and I’ve tried to start it a few times. I got it to start once but didn’t drive it, about a month ago. I’ve tried to start it 3 or 4 times since then and it will just crank and not turn over.

If it's cranking, then it's turning over. Sounds like it's not starting.

It's probably either no fuel or no spark.

Begin trouble-shooting with the easiest thing... make sure you're not simply low on fuel. The gas gauge is not to be trusted.

I meant that it will turn over but not start, just said the wrong thing. And I know I filled up shortly before I stopped driving it, but I can check to be sure

Can you hear the fuel pump prime for two seconds when you turn the key to Run?

If you do, that doesn't necessarily mean you're getting fuel to the injectors, but it's something to check.
