Just curious, why are the two lines on the cruise control servo actually two lines joined by a right angle plastic connector. so like 4 lines total. i have some ratty lines and dont see any issues replacing each one with a single piece of ruber line.

heres someone elses pictures

A single line should work. Two hoses linked together with a splice is still a single hose.

I would suspect so that they do not suck closed under vacuum in a tight bend.

The 2 lines across the trunk are not the same, one goes to the cruise system ( vacuum canister, cruise solenoid and cruise servo) the other line goes to the EVAP system. going onto 40 years on that system intact works flawlessly, why would you want to change it?

If you mean specifically the 2 lines into the vacuum cannister, one is the vacuum source, one is the solenoid ( could say purge valve). It's how it has to be from factory
IDK why people want to complicate from the simplicity of what works........
