Hood headlight doors (Page 1/1)

So 1st sorry can't yet post a picture of this hood, not buying the hype of the junk tech today for the $$$ they want.

My question is how should the profile of the front of the headlight cover to the rear of the hood apper? Should it be flush at the front with a small rise at the back above the hood line?

Tia,

Not entirely certain what your asking, but I'm including some pictures of my Fiero, which is the same as my dad's, so should be correct

???

If you don't use a cell phone, you can buy a decent older digital camera on eBay for ten bucks. No, I'm not kidding.

In regards to the headlight doors, as pictured above, they sit flush with the hood.

When the small bumpers shown above w/ doors open are good.

Many are missing those & front edge of door(s) can sits a bit lower then hood.

Thanks 85GT, Ogre. I suspected they should be flush both front of the door and back towards the windshield. I bought some rubber bumpers quite sometime ago thought they were gonna work but they let the front of the door sit too low.

Patrick Yeah I was referring to my cell phone camera. I'm not going to chase the stupid stuff. Will get a work around when I need it.

Unless your cell phone dates back to the 90's, it can probably take decent enough quality images (certainly good enough for a car hood )... especially if the highest resolution setting is selected.

Only if the phone was smart enough to tell my why "camera failed". Yet it seems to work just fine for video calls.

Otherwise I would post a few pictures on here. At any rate I'm not giving more money away to worthless technology.

If you post what the problem is along with your phone's model number in O/T, possibly members here could help resolve this issue.

Just a quick update on one side, right front leading edge the lip from that corner going towards the center of the hood was cracked fairly bad. Total length only about an inch, doing it twice.
