I was reinstalling my instrument cluster with new LED lights. At first the lights seemed to work. Now nothing. I put in a back up cluster and no lights. The fuses under left front dash all ok. Any ideas on what is going on ?

If the rest of your lights work, I would take a look at the transistor.
Oh and make sure the dimmer knob is plugged in.[This message has been edited by buddycraigg (edited 03-04-2024).]

sorry for my lack of knowledge but where would I find the transistor? the Dimmer switch turns on the overhead light but no action on the dash lights

You will have to forgive me. I have forgotten a lot of what I use to know.
If you were sitting in the seat, I think it would be above your right knee.
But give us a little bit more back story.

LED in the dash often "hates" most dimmers made for standard bulbs as doesn't dim right but do no damage to either.
Most LED in this & related formats are Polarize & just have resistor(s) to control current. But some have other issues like are "CANBUS" units that have extra resistor to "fake" standard bulbs so BCM etc will work right. Do Not use these in the dash or most other things in Fiero or any old cars. Even in new cars can have problems replacing standard bulbs w/ "CANBUS LEDs" as the resistors often overheat & burn the "bulbs" if your lucky. Can burn the socket/fixture & more.
Many replace "dim" bulbs but isn't bulb problem but dirt in the dash & electric problems. Standard 194 bulbs are often too bright when they work right & need to dim many places to see outside @ night properly.
Dash Dimmer dims the dash & other things including OE Radio. If nothing turns on or way dim check dimmer parts.
