PCV valve size? (Page 1/1)

Hello again, I'm currently chasing a hissing sound near the airbox/throttle body of my duke. In doing so I was replacing the PCV valve. The new one I got is a bit different, shorter and the opening on one end is larger. Is it still compatible? I plugged it in and she seemed to run fine with it. Unfortunately it didn't stop the hissing though.

(p.s) this was the one that my local autozone said would fit, don't know how accurate their database is though

Did your housing stop when you apply a bit of throttle, say 1800rpm, of so I'd be willing to bet it's the IAC valve, which is perfectly normal, at certain positions, with certain accounts of buildup/junk, it can make a whistling/hissing noise, spray some seafoam or carb cleaner into the IAC valve hole while the engine is running, see if that helps.
