Drilled out the spotwelds from the rest of the space frame, wouldn't be much of a job to install on an earlier space frame if one had the proper tools and skills. I had thought about doing that very thing to an 86 space frame that I was going to put an 88 cradle into, just to make people scratch their heads at Fiero shows. Plans got shelved when I found my Formula.
