Do I need to buy two coilover conversion kits? (Page 1/1)

So I’m considering buying stage Fiero Guru’s “ Rear Coilover Spring Hardware 84-88 Fiero: W/O SPRINGS” and I noticed that it specifies that it’s a rear conversion strut kit. Would I need to get a front kit if I wanted to lower my car around 2.5 inches? Maybe I’m a little lost and confused. Furthermore since I’m considering buying the one without springs would it be possible to use the stock fiero springs in the coil over conversion or should I buy the one with springs or get springs from somewhere else.

Sorry if these are dumb questions there’s just no coilovers for the fiero under 1k.

My coilover kits are just for the rear.
You can not use the stock rear springs with them at they will not fit on the lower adjuster ring. You have to use 2 1/2" ID springs so they fit on the adjuster ring.

If you want to lower the front, cutting springs, lowering springs, and lowering ball joints are all options. Front coilovers for the 84-87 requires cutting and welding, front coilovers for the 88 will require a new lower control arms.

I bought guru's kit, with the springs. Easy-peasy. Hardest part was grinding the bracket off the strut. Took a few minutes with a grinding wheel.
My front springs are stock springs, cut by one coil.
