Gauge lights (Page 1/2)

So I have a 1985 Fiero (5 speed 4 cyl) and when I turn on my parking lights to light up the gauges my left turn signal lights up on the gauge:

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue or where I should start? Thank you!

What happens when you turn on the left turn signal?

Does one of the gauges blink?

Check the left front parking light socket for a bad ground, it's very common for the front bulb socket to corrode.

Both turn signals work completely normal.

Are you using LED bulbs anywhere in the circuit?

Hello There, just had the exact same issue on one of my '88 GTs. Replace the socket with one from Rock Auto or the Fiero Store. Problem solved

Steve, quick question... are the gauges naturally that bright? ... or are you using newer bulbs, etc?

I haven't had an 85 in a long time (though my daughter has one now), and just curious if that's how it should look.

Thanks!

Yes I am using led bulbs in the gauge.
