88 v6 no spark (Page 1/1) cartercarbaficionado OCT 09, 07:31 PM got the 5 speed swap done and we went to start and nothing happened. just kept cranking and cranking with no results. no fuses are bad I tried a known good spare icm and pickup and coil. I haven't checked the fusible links yet but can't imagine they would have gone bad just from it sitting for a week. we did tilt the cradle back to do the transmission but the wiring itself had slack the entire time so I can't imagine anything broke. tach starts off above 0 (messed up needle position) and when cranking goes directly to 0 from the voltage does and does not move. any ideas?
