Howdy, I had a prior discussion about an 87 Pontiac Fiero SE 2.5L, 5 speed that had my engine rebuilt over the summer and now ready to prepare it for mounting. When they sent the engine block back, they sent back these parts not attached. Can someone tell me where these parts go on this 1987 Iron Duke ? Thanks folks!

Cliff is right for all of those... but these pictures of my daughter's 85 Fiero 2m4 SE might help (which has been outfitted with 87-88 engine parts). You'll be able to see all the other brackets, etc. Note... the little elbow bracket is for the A/C compressor.







You'll see where all the brackets go, including the ones that Cliff mentioned.

The thinner one that has a curved flap at the end, that is a belt guard which is supposed to protect against a shredded belt hitting the battery cables. You can see that in the second picture to the left of the exhaust manifold. It attaches to the waterpump.


EDIT: I think that big "loop" thing doesn't belong on a Fiero. But it looks to me like a tow hook. Usually, this is something that's screwed into the front bumper of a car that allows a tow-truck driver to cinch down a car onto a flat-bed. First example I could find...



My honest opinion, I'm serious... you're missing a lot of 87 parts and it seems they downgraded your engine to a V-belt (it should have a serpentine). You could easily buy a Fiero V6 and drop it in there, even carburate it if you didn't feel like going with fuel injection.
