If I switch my headlights, they will both go up and down, but they will stop at random spots on the way up. To get them to come up all the way I'll push the running lights on to keep them from coming down while I feather the headlight switch until they stop on their own, I'll release it and then feather it again, each time they go a little bit higher. Would this be motors going bad or some sort of control module for them? They never end up in the same spots when done and I have to manually adjust them so i'm not blinding people, or so they arent pointed straight into the ground.

Could be a sour Headlight Control Module mounted up in the Left front fender well or the condition of the nylon dowel pins in each motor gear mechanism. Common issue for Gen 2 system

Check the headlight switch first: https://www.fierostore.com/.../Detail.aspx?s=51426
2nd Generation Headlight Motors:
If your headlights fail to rise and the motors keep spinning, check/replace the bushings/dowels/pins in the motor gear. Both Rodney Dickman and The Fiero Store sell kits.
If the motors do not run, it is more likely is the Headlight Control Module.
If you need a Headlight Control Module, I can dig a thread with an aftermarket source which is cheaper than GM's Module which it is still available but double the cost or more....

Sounds like a bad electrical connection. First thing I would do is take the headlight switch apart and clean the contacts. Then I would pull the headlight control module and float the solder on all soldered joints.
