There was an article in Ogers cave once upon a time about using a Ford mirror switch .. Does anybody remember the what year-s that the switch came from ?

I remember that, but I'm not finding it in a search. IIRC it was a 3rd gen Taurus switch.

You are talking about the one that fits inside of the manual control on the Fiero door card? I know I picked up 1 or 2 at the time and might still have them I will look tonight if there is some sort of nubmer on it as I was going to use it on my 86, but found a nice door card without the manual mirror pod on it so went with the Fiero style.
