I got busy with work/family/life and the Fiero got stuffed in the garage and covered with kids toys and other garage junk for the last several years. A few weeks ago I dug the Fiero out of the garage. My plan is to get it back to running condition this spring so I can enjoy it this summer. I owe you guys some updates. If you PM’ed me over the years, just send another one if you still have questions. The Fiero ran well. I don’t know how many miles I put on it but overall I think the drivetrain will work. For the transmission, the weakest part seems to be the 2-3 shift at full throttle. I don’t consider a WOT 2-3 part of normal daily driving which is why I say this will work for most. We did repeated full throttle 2-3 to try to calibrate this shift and I think we were just too abusive on the trans. The transmission still shifts but I am going to pull it to see how it looks. I have a few body mods and clean up I never got a chance to do so I will be doing that as well. I just need to do my research and see what vendors are still around. I will keep you guys updated and it is good to be back! I could have sworn it was hurt when I parked it but maybe it was something else. So I can report the LS and 6T seems to be fine. I hope to take this on Power Tour this year so that should be a pretty good test.
