Hi,
Are u sick of the original Fiero throttle pedal , change it to something like this :

stainless Steel and gives a far more better feeling for the cars acceleration
made it a year ago and it works like a charme

oooo, how did I miss that. Is that really hinged at the bottom, or just looks like it?
Fieromaniac NOV 02, 02:23 AM
yes its fixed on the floor , meaning the turnpoint is there in opposite to the standard fiero pedal which is hanging in the Air

I agree.. Schaut super aus.

How's the pedal feel now? Heel-toe? (I think it's an auto, but could you tell me (put it in neutral ) )

Yup, the brake pedal is wide for an auto.

Thats really neat. I'm short so its a pain in the ass to have to mash the throttle so hard with the tip of my foot to get it scooting. I was thinking of something like that.

Its a more natural move for the gas foot now heel stays where it is and when you push the pedal you know what will happen instead of the shitty original throttle pedal which is first moving in itself before starting to move the pedal arm .

i will try to take a pic from behind to show how its connected

Does anyone know how the plastic pedal removes from the metal throttle rod? It does not appear to be a bolt/nut setup and mine is broken. I have one in a junk car, but do I need the whole assembly or does the 'pedal' remove, and how?

I figured I'd tack this onto this post I found in Search since it does show the throttle rod.

Anybody know? I was hoping for some experienced advice before I break it finding how it does come off. We all know how that works.
