I solved that problem with an adapter that allows you to use the original speedo sensor from your TH125. I'll be posting that in another thread and link to it from here.

On one of my Fieros I run a 4T65eHD, on another I run the 4T60e. On both transmissions simple electronic interface conversion circuits were used to drive the speedometer. No need for anything mechanical.

TVS, if you want, I have an '88 Fiero GT I have title on and can give to you for buying Cliff a couple beers. The GT is white, but not pretty. No damage though. It died with a spun bearing/rod kock and has been sitting long enough to be frozen now, but it's an automatic. You would need to swap over your '86 manual bits and mod the harness a little. A number of people have done this swap.

Here's a link I found on that subject:
https://www.fiero.nl/forum/...L/000077-3.html#p113

...and a parts swap list from that same link:

Converting to a manual requires all these parts from your donor.
tranny
axles
shifter assembly
2 shifting cables
clutch pedal assembly
hydraulic clutch line
master cylinder
slave cylinder
flywheel
clutch set <---- buy new - no reason using a worn one
Plastic frame with boot to cover shifter assembly

I'm in So Cal. You would need to bring a trailer.

Hi Bob,

I'd be interested in taking the car off you hands if you still have it I'm in the SFV.
