This one makes me cautious because it lists it only for the 88 and the 88 is different from the 86 and 87. The fork is the same but the shaft is different. I'll take a look at the other links.

I believe 1986-1987 and EARLY 1988 8ZL trans code gear boxes used the SAME Clutch Fork Shaft {GM 8672937}
Later 1988 8XPX {2nd design} gear boxes used Clutch Fork Shaft GM 8672942
