Unfortunately the "Mera" wheels in the ad are not the optional Chromadoras. They resemble them but are made by a different firm and may have a different size, bolt pattern, or offset.

There was no photos in the ad when I saw it, so yeah that's a bust.

Am interested in contacting the seller. There's no email listed and the phone rings to a magicjack with a full voicemail. Did you have the link to the ad or the email please?

I talked with the owner's representative and was told the following. The original Chromadora wheels ran out of stock and a new source was selected for the few needed remaining wheel sets. These wheels were supposedly the ones substituted for the Chromadoras. Might be true and might not be but I have no real knowledge in this area.

Seller probably also says lotus built the chassis on. The cars and all the other stories out there.
End of the day, regardless of whether that's true or not, it's still some heavily salt pitted wheels with curbing on the edges.

The owner's friend told me the wheel info came from Rodney Dickman but I am not familiar with the story at all.

Mine is the 88th one built in 1988. A late build and has the proper Chromadoras. I don’t buy the story.
