88 owners, don't be typical cheap Fiero guys. It is a REAL pain in the ass trying to find an 88 brake master, especially when yours stops working and you really need one.

Grab this kit and put it away for when you actuallly need it, since it may not be available a couple of years from now!

I can confirm this part fits an 88 master cylinder. I bought one from this seller previously and rebuilt my original master, which is now sitting on the shelf in case of emergency 😁

!988 brake master cylinder alternative by Rick Vanderpool

I've done some research online and have an idea of what can be used as a replacement for 1988 brake master cylinders. Looking at the Centric website I see the following;

Centric Part #130.62030 for 1988 Fiero lists the bore as 23.8 mm.

Centric Part #130.66011 for 1994 S10 lists the bore as 23.6 mm. [cut]

As I posted on this thread, GM says that the GM 18010083 kit works on the S10 brake master cylinder
but not for the '88 Fiero. Be careful as the diameter of this kit may by smaller than the '88 MC...

These sites list this kit as fitting 1988 Fiero. Additionally Brian D has used it and says it fits.

I'd have to say yes, since I just finished installing this kit in my '88 master.
