Son's 86 GT 5 speed frame rusted through at the left front lower control arm and is unsafe to drive anymore. We have decided to park it and find another.

Is there anything out there for sale?

Been a long time! I've got a rust free donor chassis that I need to get rid of. Let me know if you'd be interested in going that route.

Hey Jefry, long time no see. I'll pass on the chassis, thanks. I already have a rust free chassis I am currently rebuilding my ZR-2 on too. Don't think I want to go through that ever again, especially at my age and weight......

Looks like the whole idea is going to end anyway, son just got home and informed us he was told today his workplace is closing next week so the money will be tight for awhile.

Isn't where the control arms mount on a removable front "cradle"? If so, the coultas junkyard by us just got a few fieros that are pretty complete you could maybe check out.

Hey Oldrock, been awhile as well. I'll have to take a closer look at the problem to be sure it's the spaceframe and not the suspension unit. Thanks for the Coultas info, last time I was there only had an 84 that was picked over with little left and I need some parts for my ZR-2 refit as well.
