That gear drives the speedometer sender and its matched to the FDR of the transmission. I cannot say that all Getrag 282 transmission had the same FDR so there may or may not be different matching gears. I would say that the VSS gear would be difficult to find but there might be a cross reference, I would say just keep posting here and one may turn up. The large parts dealers like the Fiero factory and Fiero Store might have one. Also check with parts dealers Wayne Renninger, Larry Hubert and Tom Derr. ------------------
