Looking for an unbroken windshield cowl (HVAC vent, wiper blade mechanism cover thing). Preferably the later '87-88 style.
Just had a windshield replaced today and put ~ 2 inch crack in mine removing it (appeared to be siliconed around the screw holes making it difficult to remove). Otherwise, I guess I'll be breaking out the glue of some sort in the meantime.
Thanks!

I patronized a local place, Chuck's Auto Glass, because it's maybe 15 minutes from my house and they also gave me the best price ($250 installed). All the usual big corporate places (Safe-lite, etc) also said they had it in stock, at $300-$400, and some wanted me to bring the car. Chuck's replaced it at my house.
Looks like the brand is XYG?

The original was smashed by a large fallen tree branch:
And yes, I'll be removing the dash sometime to see how much deeper damage the tree branch did.[This message has been edited by kslish (edited 10-18-2023).]

Eh, it happens...just got to roll with it. What makes it worse is the dash was PERFECT and didn't even have the usual cracked corners under the vents on each side.
I'll get it fixed, piece by piece over time....exterior first, inside later. Guess it comes with having more cars than garage space. Also, the tree has been cut down so it won't happen again.

I have several windshield cowls all removed from 88 GT's and Formula's. They are all in excellent shape with no damage, breaks or tears. They are all packaged and ready to go (they look like a Boggie Board). I accept PayPal for all payments and I ship Fiero parts worldwide. If you are interested please PM me on here and also include your shipping address so that I can give you a shipping cost as well. Thanks, have a great evening and most of all stay safe.

Yes XYG is still making them. I had delivered to me for $120 and installed myself. Only complaint is they put their crappy big logo right smack in the middle of the windshield. If one didn't have wiper blades which partially obscure it, it would be intolerable. Not sure which genius made that choice of placement.

Larry has never responded to my PM or e-mail, so I'm still looking I guess.....
Or if anyone knows of any in the parts yards around the Harrisburg/Reading/Allentown, PA region (becoming very rare I know).
