You are looking for a specific part and post it here in The Mall. A new member (with little to no posts) will contact you, saying he knows someone who has the part and is probably willing to sell it to you for a reasonable price. You then contact that "other" person (who is in fact the same person) and agree on a price. You send him the money only to never hear from him again. So if you are contacted through PM by a new member, telling you he knows someone who has the part you seek, and you are unsure if it's legit, <b>contact me first</b>.
