GT / SE Factor Spoiler for Sale (Page 1/1)

FYI, I put my spoiler up on eBay. It is a 5-day listing. After carefully researching the shipping, none of the low pricing I found (with your suggestions) seemed to be available. eBay put a HUGE range on the estimated shipping so I have to say I don't really know what to expect when the listing is finished.

BTW
eBay’s shipping calculator which is regrettably not accurate, and I’ve experienced the negative consequences of their errors as a 'west coast seller'.
If the cost is accurate on the east coast, the west coast undercharges which you will pay the difference.
With an accurate cost on the west coast, the calculator overcharges the east coast.......

Edit
Given that, I put a 'shipping calculator note' in the listing and the only 'fix' was sending a partial refund after shipping if the buyer paid too much.

Yikes. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be less than $100

The listing is up to 73 views and 3 watchers, no bids.

FYI - wise eBay buyers bid at the last moment.....or only 'watch' if you sold it or not.

Yes, that is very true. Today it's up to 151 views, 4 watchers, and 1 bid, so it is going to sell. I may be old school in this because whenever I bid on an auction I get a bid out there well before it ends, and if there is already someone bidding, I launch a perfunctory bid (not trying to be high bidder, necessarily), just so the other person knows that I am out there and might provide some competition. I generally don't swoop in at the last minute. There is a surplus equipment site I bid on occasionally that has a process I like, more like an in-person auction. As the clock approaches the end, if someone bids it extends the auction period a bit, giving one time to stare into the abyss and perhaps make a higher bid as a result. Sort of like 'going once, going twice, sold to the dufus in the green shirt!'

1 bid, so it is going to sell.....

IF the "buyer" pays!
Sometimes you think that it is "sold" but you didn't get a payment.......

Good Luck!

Sorry I forgot to update this ... I shipped the spoiler out before going on a business trip. Arrived in one piece and good feedback from the new owner. All's well that ends well.
