Sent a PM to member Larry Hubbert; I bet he can help you on the part......
Gen-Z-Garage : Episode 14 - Visiting Larry Hubbert's Fiero Depot! by 82-T/A [At Work] https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/100589.html
quote | Larry Hubert: Part of the problem is that when people PM me on here or on FB and even Direct emails they do not use their true names or they have multiple names on all of the different venues which gets rather confusing. There are times that the same person has used a different name at the same time looking for the same part on all 3 venues. It is very hard to follow and also keep track of especially since I only do this part time with somewhat limited hours, since I still work a fulltime job just like most people on here.
That having been said, can you please tell me more about your Fiero needs and I promise you an answer. I always do my best to get back to everyone who contacts me ASAP. I always send HiRes Pix of the actual parts I will be sending, so there is no regrets or surprises when they get their order in their hands and see that it is exactly as stated. I have many satisfied customers worldwide acquired over the many years I have been selling Fiero parts and I specialize in 88's. I sincerely hope that this clears thing up a bit and if I can be of any help, please contact me on Facebook Messenger (Larry Hubbert), PM on Pennock's (Larry Hubbert) and/or direct at LHUBBERT2@BRIGHTHOUSE.COM. Also please use your true name and/or provide me with the names you use on other venues in order to avoid any confusion. |

these are rebuildable unlike what most say. just get nice brake fluid rated orings and hope the one weird seal is fine. generally if these are leaking they leak around the switch in them which is litterally just an oring needing replacement and its only job Is to prevent the fluid from getting into the switch. I used a I think nitrile? (may have been hbrt "green crap" orings) but it's been fine for months of daily driving in my 84 but I did end up carrying spare fluid and a spare valve from a junkyard fiero just in case. do message Larry and lonny B. both are very good part sources

I went through this very problem on my 85 GT. I’m betting you had a major master cylinder failure? If so, the shaft/rod in your proportioning valve moved (shifted) to the other end of the valve. Resetting it can be done but is a little tricky and doesn’t always work) In my case, it wouldn’t budge so I ended up getting one from an 86 GT in a local yard. Amazon and Rockauto sell universal ones but need to pay attention to the sizes of all the outlets to ensure it’ll work in your car. Also, some complained about the quality of the aftermarket ones.
