Selling off all my Fiero stuff.
Not expecting a windfall but let's be fair about the offers.
1988 4cyl/5spd 140k miles.
Aero body base model with dealer installed rear wing.
No factory A/C.
I will not part the car out. It's all or nothing.
The Good:
Completely stock. No modifications to drive train or body.
Engine runs strong (for a Duke)
All panels are undamaged and original matching VIN parts with exception of minor flaking of composites.
Frame is rust free as far as I can tell.
Interior is in fair condition but it will need some restoration. All parts are there, nothing missing or broken except the belt guard on the drivers seat.
Clutch and brake hydraulics replaced with Rodney Dickman parts (brake/clutch MC).
New belt tensioner (Rodney Dickman).
Rebuilt battery tray.
Recent water pump.
Recent alternator.
Newer starter.
Newer fuel pump.
New drive pins in headlight motors.
New ignition module/coils/wires.
Clutch and pressure plate replaced @ 105k (stock LUK clutch).
Halfshafts seem OK (no thunking or cracked dust boots)
All gauges and electrics work properly.
Steering and suspension is tight and responsive.
Alignment seems fine (no unusual wear patterns) but I have not put eccentric bolts in the rear.
Aluminum wheels.
The Bad:
Will need a brake rework. Brakes are serviceable but the left front rotor has a minor warp and will need new rotors front and back (turned about 35k or so and cannot be machined again). Have a pair of new front calipers and one set of brake pads. Rear calipers are OK but could use dust seals on the pistons.
Tires are out of DOT spec (age). So they would need replacing before it is road worthy.
Driver's seat belt has a couple areas where it is frayed and should be replaced (serviceable otherwise).
Could use new steel lines from fuel tank up to connection with TB hoses (Fiero Store sells them). They don't leak but I don't trust them anymore.
Has some drive ability issues. I think the cat is partially clogged and I may fix/replace it before I sell it.
Small crack in the lower right windshield near the corner.
Of course the dew wipes are shot.
The Ugly:
The paint. Nuff said here, has the typical problem with the topcoat flaking off.

Center console (charcoal gray)
Instrument panel from an '85 v6 SE
2 original AC Delco stereo. (Don't know if they work or how well)
2 '88 front calipers (reman. steel pistons)
4 Brake pads (Albany brand)
1 Sunroof glass cover (storage pouch)
1 Shifter trim pad
1 '86 owners/maint manuals (Black. Matched set)
1 '85 Owners manual
1 OEM Fiero "P" parts/illustration manual
2 Fiero Service manual. A professional reprint.
2 Haynes Fiero repair manuals (all years)

........and interior and exterior photos. The 88 Dukes can get great mileage but those engines are very different and harder to repair than the 84-87 Dukes. When they run right they run smooth and with the 5 speed they are capable of 45-47 hwy MPG. ------------------

Mark_J, Dennis is right. You may be 'done' but cars without pictures don't attract much interest here. As has been mentioned, starting prices are a good idea too. What many people do with these ads is re-edit, whenever something sells, which they indicate by converting that item's text to strikethrough. This makes it easy for potential customers to see at a glance what is available, what is not, and theoretically saves you the trouble of getting a lot of 'do you still have xxx ?' queries. Fieros are not for everyone, still, it is always sad to see someone give up on a dream (of sorts.) Good luck with your next adventure.

LOL. Yea forum users hate having pictures readily available. We much prefer to have every single person have to PM and beg for pics.
You might try selling on ebay. Remmeber not to post pictures in your ad there but make everyone message you for them. Then set it as an auction with a sky high reserve. You got dis.

Whatever turns your crank.. if you want to scrap it or set it on fire, go for it. Folks here gave you good, reasonable suggestions on how to properly sell a car online. If you do not want to listen, then feel free to take pictures of the car, print them, and staple them to trees and electrical poles in your area
