So I had solved the problems with the Name Server and had to reboot the server. Guess the server wasn't as millennium-proof as I thought because the clock was reset back to 1995...
I took the forum down and edited all newly posted messages by hand so it would reflect the proper date again. I'm not sure what the server will do at midnight so I'll keep a close eye on it.
Sorry for the scary moment...
