A concern about signatures (Page 1/2) |

Hi all, I've noticed that more and more people are using their signature for showing their ride - which is a good thing. I do however, have some concerns about the physical size of some of these signatures. Sometimes a thread needs a lot of scrolling over signatures, just to read the messages in between. This of course does not profit the readability of a thread. So I kindly ask people to review their own signature and perhaps size them down a bit. I was also wondering how people would feel about if we all agreed to use signatures as less as possible in the Technical Discussion & Questions section. This section would benefit greatly from a larger readability... Just a thought.

Thanks for awakening us Cliff. I think mine is small enough. I will however watch myself for using it multiple times in each thread. I do it out of force of habit and because I love to show off my ride. ------------------ 88 Coupe V6

As a general rule of thumb, following what many members do, I use the signature in only the first post I make in a thread. I'll try to not use it in the technical threads from now on. ------------------ T-T-F-N, Tah Tah For Now!

No probs with text only sigs. As long as they don't include the complete instructions for an engine swap or something...

The first post of the thread sounds like a good Idea. As for me I usually post the sig on maybe 25% of my posts. Keeping it out of the Tech area would help since some subjects can get long and detailed.
