Apparantly (I haven't had this confirmed yet), a power outage caused all servers in my server's subnet to reboot. This caused my server to be unreacheable for about 10-15 minutes. Right now, my server is the only one that has restarted properly. The problem is however, that the DNS my server uses is still down. This causes the forum to slow down tremendously, because every request to a page on the forum causes my server to do a few DNS lookups - which all fail. I hope they can fix the problem ASAP, and that the forum speeds up again.

Well, the server was only down for 15 minutes. But the DNS was out for most of the night. But apparantly they have fixed it now.

of course, it happened when i needed to post some important tech questions... but that's just my luck. Cliff, i haddn't shared my appreciation of the forum and your efforts, lately so allow me quote "Jeff from Richmond"... its all good, I got a lot done because I wasnt surfin here.  but I'm glad your back up for now. Cuz I'm at work and wouldnt know what to do without it. ------------------

To me, it was down for 5 hours or more, I could'nt get on any after my "Duel Turbo" Post, and I tried 'till 11-11:30 last nite ;(. I'm VERRY glad to see it back up today though
