And so, it begins. (Page 2/13)

Very True. I have been warning others for over a year and got nothing but ridicule from the Dems and Libs. Now, we will see for sure what this country is made of and whether our Constitution and our System of Justice can withstand this abuse of Power by those who have done everything that they can to overturn the will of the PEOPLE.

4 More Years.

How soon we forget.

I would like to think that some might benefit from a review of these threads from July 2016. However, those who would benefit most will likely be in denial to the bitter end.

As several of us have reiterated in this thread, we tried to warn you.

Reality is not malleable.

Another small step for John Durham and (hopefully) a giant leap for the American people:

BREAKING: Durham Criminal Investigation Zeros In On Brennan, Communications With Comey

quote
United States Attorney John Durham’s criminal investigation into the origins of the FBI’s Russia investigation is reportedly taking a close look at former CIA Director John Brennan.

Durham has “requested Mr. Brennan’s emails, call logs and other documents from the C.I.A., according to a person briefed on his inquiry,” The New York Times reported. “He wants to learn what Mr. Brennan told other officials, including the former F.B.I. director James B. Comey, about his and the C.I.A.’s views of a notorious dossier of assertions about Russia and Trump associates.”

And this opinion piece, because the title is too good not to repeat:

The Blues at St. James Comey’s Infirmary

quote
When your best explanation for humiliating failures is that you were incompetent, not criminal, you are in trouble.

Look out! Here comes the truth, better cover your eyes.

My initial post in this thread linked to a document from the FISC which made several demands of the FBI. The last paragraph of that document demanded the release of an order from December 5, 2019. Here is that order: https://www.fisc.uscourts.g...20Order%20191220.pdf

The order outlines the failure of the FBI to provide information requested by the court and as a result, made the following demands:

quote

It is further ORDERED that by written submission on or before December 20, 2019, the
United States shall:

(1) Identify all other matters currently or previously before this Court that involved
the participation of the FBI OGC attorney whose conduct was described in the
Preliminary Letter and Supplement Letter;

(2) Describe any steps taken or to be taken by the Department of Justice or FBI to
verify that the United States' submissions in those matters completely and fully
described the material facts and circumstances; and

(3) Advise whether the conduct of the FBI OGC attorney bas been referred to the I
appropriate bar association(s) for investigation or possible disciplinary action.

I find the third demand most interesting.

It seems that things are finally starting to move. We shall see.

Some have questioned the resolve of the FISC, in light of the fact that they allowed all of this to happen. There is a lot of finger pointing going on in the USDOJ right now.

Here is an opinion piece regarding the judge who produced the above referenced orders: https://pjmedia.com/trendin...o-sit-on-your-hands/

quote
"I want to admonish this judge," Levin said. "She had an opportunity to act when it mattered. Back on April 20, 2017, the Landmark Legal Foundation under its president, Pete Hutchison, filed a motion -- a secret motion -- with this court. And it was a motion informing the judge of the violations that had occurred based on published reports because it was known back in April of 2017. Some of it, if not much of it. And those exhibits were provided to the judge. Five days after we filed that [...], the judge ruled" to deny the request arguing there was "no matter pending before the court with respect to which such an appearance would be proper."

"That was always a disingenuous reply," Levin went on to say, "but this judge, and apparently she changed her mind today. Apparently she changed her mind more than 2.5 years later and realized: 'Oh, I have jurisdiction. The matter is pending I suppose.' Although that never made any sense because a judge is free, even when a matter is done, to call parties before them in their courtroom if in fact the judge believes wrongs have been committed in the court and against the court."

The FISA court is not without problems either. They were told about this abuse of the FISA system over a year ago by the Nunes report out of the Senate. But, they pointedly chose to ignore that report. I am at the point where I don't believe that we can keep the FISA court and still maintain our liberties acknowledge in our Constitution. FISA court is an aberration in American jurisprudence and is counter to many of our rights outlined in the Bill of Rights. The politicians thought that they could contain it and prevent abuse of the court, but we see now that the more power we give them the more that they abuse the power. Kill FISA now.

Nothing new about that.
There is not a local, county, state or federal govt agency or department that doesn't/hasn't grabbed more power than they were directed to at their outset.
It's the duty of The People to rein them in and keep them in check.
The price of freedom truly is eternal vigilance.

I totally agree with you that the People need to rein them in and keep them in check.

Here is a little video of Rudy talking about the Ukraine corruption and how Hunter and Joe Biden are intimately involved.

An unarmed people cannot ultimately do that.

But we already knew that....

“The flak only gets heavy when you’re over the target.”

That is an adage from WWII.

Well it looks like the left is ramping up their rhetoric in a campaign to besmirch the reputation of the heretofore universally lauded John Durham.

Here is Durham's statement on which all of the criticism is based: https://www.justice.gov/usa...torney-john-h-durham

quote
“I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff. However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department. Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S. Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.”

You can, of course, draw your own conclusions.

Does that read like a rinselberg sentence?
