Thank you for the information. My post was more about what have you heard from the media regarding treatments. Even social media. Google and FaceBook blocking any news except what is provided by the WHO or CDC is alarming. There are doctors and researchers working tirelessly to treat people with this disease but they seem to have been suppressed. My question is why? Is it simply to make people believe if you are not vaccinated you will die? I'm vaccinated so you know how I feel personally. It's still fascinating what is happening right before our eyes.

I know this is just my opinion on the matter so to keep it simple: my answer to this question is that some people have enough power, money and influence to make sure their opinions are known and even influence and suppress opposition.

I have not been vaccinated and neither has my wife.

Neither of us will choose to get vaccinated.

Both of us have the same, or lesser, chance of dying from the China Virus as those who have opted to receive the experimental vaccine.

Both of us have none of the chances of experiencing long term side effects of the experimental vaccines that those who have received it do.

And, I fully support your right to make that decision. That doesn't mean I agree with it but, every person in this country should be able to get vaccinated or choose to not get vaccinated. Having attended three memorials for friends who already had weaken immune systems and then got COVID-19, I don't wish to lose any more friends needlessly but, that's their decision and I support their right to make that decision.

Food for thought: what exactly is the purpose of a vaccine? Answer: to bolster ones immune system,..right? What if a person does not have the wherewithal to build on? Answer: no effective immunity. Example: a person with an organ transplant who takes immune suppressants. To take the vaccine is pointless,...functionally but the placebo effect helps the person emotionally. The same exact thing happens to people who have weakened immune systems,..little to no effective resistance to the virus,...depending on how much of an immune system a person has to start with.
Vaccines are a medical wonder but not a cure all. Vaccines need something in the person to work with, a vaccine is not a replacement to a missing or weakened immune system. Vaccines are a booster of a functional (to some degree) immune system.

I don't really care if people choose to get vaccinated or not. It's not my place to wag my finger at anyone. I think both are ok options.

The vaccine, though not without risk, usually boost your immune system against Covid 5X more than natural immunity.

I can't speak for every person out there that have had organ transplants but, I do know three different people who have had kidney transplants from donors and all have been vaccinated and all are on anti-rejection drugs. I don't pretend to be an expert on such things but, I do know these folks did get vaccinated, I took one to a clinic so that he could get his second vaccination. I have never suggested that all need to be vaccinated, it's obvious that not everyone should. As always, there are exceptions to every rule. Each of us gets to make a personal choice. But, just like the "Butterfly Effect", our decisions usually effect more than just ourselves.

I disagree with this comment, but honestly I could be wrong. Do you have evidence to back this claim? I have read that a natural immunity is stronger. Once a person has symptoms and gets over the virus, they are as immune as humanly possible. The vaccine does not create a supper immunity.

I understand. I have a close uncle who lives a few miles away from me. He has had a liver transplant sometime in the late 80's or early 90's and has been on antibiotics rejection medication sense. He is 80 and in very good health. He has also gotten the vaccine. He was pressured by the health care professionals into getting it. My opinion for the pressure is simple: ignorance, panic and desperation. (ignorance) Still to this day the jury is out on the side affects of the vaccine and if it even works on immune suppressed people. (panic) Obvious reasons for panic over the unknown and the unknown still is a problematic question. (desperation) The "what do we have to loose" and "I'll do anything to stay alive" fall into this category.
Truth,......is unknown to this day.

I will also add that just because people participate in a behavior in mass,.. does not validate the behavior.
I do believe in science and I understand that as modern as we have today, we still have disagreement, decent, arguments and flatout name calling within the profession between the "experts". Yes this means they are wrong sometimes too.

Natural immunity to COVID-19 last about 2-3 months against only the variant you contracted it from and then your immunity starts dropping off. The vaccine gives you immunity to practically all variants and last much longer.

You get HPV naturally, you have it for life. You take the HPV vaccine you won’t contract it and will never be a carrier for life.

I just read an article that says natural immunity lasts a lot longer than initially thought. Up to a year.
