re: Thumbs (Page 2/4)

First point, it isn't in the slightest the same, as willie suggested that it is.

Second point, it wouldn't. Isn't that sorta my point? Negative reinforcement.

What if God keyed someone's car for cutting someone else else off then flipping them off?

Or who on a car site would support cutting off and flipping off another car driver?

Let's look at what I really said:

1) Anonymously down-rating something is a tool for cowards.
Hiding behind anonymity is cowardly. TDA suggested that "it would be nice if you could type a line or two explaining why you decided to "thumbs down" something". I agree with this,

2) It is childish, like keying someone's car.
I did not say that down-rating and vandalism are the same. I said that hiding behind anonymity is cowardly and childish.

3) It accomplishes nothing.
An anonymous attack, without an explanation, accomplishes nothing.

I get what you're saying, but it's not the best analogy. To me they're not so similar. It's also projecting your perception on someone else, which is a trait of arrogance. You can't know the reason, just maybe some reasons.

You remind me of E.Furgal. Both of you have the same logical disconnect and lack of comprehension. It doesn't matter what anyone says, you just insert your own ill conceived fantasies.

Both are "Tilting against windmills".

You're very egocentric but your reasoning is simplistic. You remind me of every normie-con. That isn't working for anyone anymore.

Websites put up a feature to use the thumbs rating. In your twisted logic using it is akin to an illegal act of vandalism. Probably one of most perverted forms of reasoning one could propose. Sounds like prison logic.

Don't any of you people ever, I mean ever, down-vote a flat--earth or pro-Hillary video without trolling the person too.

Nope I just don't watch them. With you I don't have that choice.

I've seen a negative appear on a ten minute video in under a minute.

That's a really vigilant troll...

But if folks could actually state why they don't like something, that might actually benefit the person who posted the content...

One of the things I am trying to find out is if people give thumbs down because they are the type that can't decide half full or half empty.
For example, a girl gets kidnapped and is found 10 years later. People should give a thumbs up because they are happy that she was found but I think a lot of people give a thumbs down because they are saying "What happened to her was terrible!", then they give a thumbs down.
