Biden said in a statement that he ordered the raid to “protect the American people and our allies, and make the world a safer place." He planned to address the American public later Thursday morning.

“Thanks to the skill and bravery of our Armed Forces, we have taken off the battlefield Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi — the leader of ISIS,” Biden said in a statement. He said all Americans involved in the operation returned safely.

We used to assassinate people like this all the time, and never made a big deal about it. This is Biden trying to make this his "Bin Laden" moment. When we ordered the strike to kill Bin Laden, it mattered. Everyone poured into the streets all over the country because it mattered.

No one gives a damn about this, no one cares about this. I'm sorry, Biden will be remembered for failure in absolutely everything he did... and allowed 20 years of Afghanistan to turn into an abject failure, meaning everything we did, all the people we lost, was effectively for nothing.

Fun fact, after...

1 - Canceling all current and future Federal land oil leases.
2 - Cancelling all future and current pipeline construction.
3 - Permanent Ban on all new oil leases and exploration.

...immediately after getting into office, he's decided to make a change. With no media fanfare, and potentially no mention at all??? He's been reversing all these policies and has been issuing 100s (thousands?) of new oil leases in hopes of reversing the catastrophic oil prices. Big thing here... people don't understand that the oil industry doesn't just work that way. It's an economy of scale. There are oil producers, oil refiners, the people that own and lease out the equipment, the people who manage the employees... etc. There's multiple companies involved in drilling for oil. You shut it down, like he did... and half those companies go out of business because their business is now done. Equipment starts falling apart from disuse, and the workers go off and do something else.

He's likely 10-12 months behind, at a minimum, before any of his actions today start having any kind of perceivable impact at all on the price of gas. He's a complete and utter idiot. Our worst enemies couldn't have done a better job at screwing up this country.

It was funny the 1st 2 times.

Rhe masters over our selected government rarely do things for a singular reason. This might be one of those times.

We, the government of the USA, are not the good guys.

So the Keystone XL pipeline is on again?

I haven't heard that if it's true, they are keeping secret. I may be wrong, I don't get out much when it's raining or it's below 35*F.
But, in general I agree with Todd that President Biden is a huge failure.
He has done more his one year in office to destroy this country than Putin. But then, he and Hunter do have some close ties overseas.

Plenty wrong with Biden without making things up. Pipeline construction takes place all the time in many places, and is still going on in different parts of the country.
A lot of the proposed pipelines (especially in Texas) that are "On Hold" are because of low natural gas prices and low projected usage of NG and LNG.
Others, had permits yanked after lawsuits from Sierra Club and other environmental groups found flaws in studies BLM and Nat Forest service did.

The fact that IS itself has spent the better part of the last 2 YEARS arguing whether or not that clown is the legitimate successor to Al- Baghdadi and Abdullah Qardash is all but lost on everyone, so this slob is more than likely just another wannabe nobody and we will probably find out a few weeks from now how many civilians were killed trying to off him.

I have no doubts about what you are saying. Hell, I barely know my own neighbors much less who is what in a middle eastern terror group.

I still believe this raid was conducted for the benefit of Joe Biden's popularity in the polls. If, he gave a damn, he would have never left Afghanistan the way it happened.

No, Keystone will never get restarted under a Democrat. It's a known-name, and has too much publicity.

He has authorized several others, like LINE3 which is a replacement pipeline. But I was really referring to the point of oil leases and drilling opportunities.

I don't know what you think I'm making up? Anyway, Biden has in fact cancelled several pipelines, most notably the Keystone XL. He signed an executive order on it in his 2nd or 3rd day of office. The 3 items I listed there are actions he took when he got into office.

When I said he was reversing his policies, I was primarily referring to him issuing new oil leases at the start of this year... an incredible number actually... more than even Trump. It's because of insane gas prices, which he caused as a result of the three actions he took (that I listed). Here are two articles iterating what I've said:

https://www.cnn.com/2021/11...o-climate/index.html

https://www.washingtonpost....rump-analysis-finds/

I'm not writing articles, I'm responding on a message board... there's no gotcha here... I'm not misrepresenting... so if I don't cleanly spell out everything, it doesn't mean I'm making things up. It means you're looking for holes.

Can't speak for anyone else but yeah, I sure am. Specifically those holes that produce oil.

I guess he chase to blow himself up rather then get the 'shot' from the US government.
