Human Hunters dated to 24Ka.
Long before ' Year One ', there were men with spears, deftly avoiding the Mammoth's tusks and stompers.
' What happened to Urgh ? '
' Toe Jam '
' Oh no ! Not quick enough. '
' He screamed until the Mammoth stomped him into the bog. '
Yep, Urgh is still there in the bog.

Obsidian Spear Points

Trapping Mammoths, the original tough job.

Is cliffw still alive? Is he in a Russian prison? Maybe on a submarine in the middle of the Caspian Sea?

Had a few drinks and decided to mess with some people. Dressed in blue tennis shoes, blue jeans, blue shirt and hat and went into a gas station where 7 crips were hanging out. I never saw so many people run out of a store so fast fearing a gun battle. In the end, they looked me up and down, shook their heads, and walked out.

I quit worrying about a "Man Card" long ago. I've accomplished just about everything on my bucket list, won't allow fear to keep me from doing anything I want to do.
I'm still not comfortable with heights but, "Manned Up" and have 93 free falls skydiving and will fly in anything they'll let me get near.

There are some things I never had a fear of doing but figured out that I wasn't very good at it. Bull Riding is one good example, another would be crashing motorcycles.

Something I learned when pops was sick.

Life is not about how big your gonads are and how brave, tough, or stupid you can be. Or how much money you can make. Or how much fun you can have doing it.

It's about can you swallow your pride and self-image. Really be there when TSHTF. Scrub floors, clean diareah, and lie through your teeth telling an old man about his diagnoses, all the while dealing with an old lady with dementia. Somehow, the motorcycle becomes just a machine but the stream niether of you have been to in 40 years is remembered. And the tree beside it.

Maybe all the Native tribes were telling us all along, we were just too deaf to listen.

Man card ? Thats pussy stuff. Life hasn't started to hit ya'all yet.

Well, since you quoted me, I have to assume that response is meant for me. Doesn't matter, until one has walked in another man's shoes, he really doesn't have a concept of what the other is going through. But, I'll agree, having a "Man Card" means very little to me. Meeting life's challenges and dealing with them is something we all have to do.
