Australia's Recharge Industries set to disrupt EV and grid storage battery markets (Page 2/3)

I like my archaic gasoline powered vehicles. I'm not promoting the EV takeover. It might be debated how or why it's occurring... but it is happening. Battery technology is constantly evolving. Today's limitations will be tomorrow's distant memory.

Mirai generates power by combining hydrogen with oxygen from the outside air.

Should we do it here, or in the P/R Pit ?

I agree. Yet Henry Ford didn't need to have horses banned. Gas stations financed themselves. With no Gooberment support.

Let the customer decide what they want !

Do what... debate why EVs are going to take over? I don't have any strong feelings about it one way or another.

Mine was a rhetorical question. rinselberg will not answer any questions which makes him question what he believes. He only reads trash which enforces what he believes .

He always posts links, videos, and other trash which he thinks proves him right.

I had to ask if we should debate it here. You had a problem with 82-T/A [At Work] posting a video of his daughters Fiero adventure in T/OT. Claiming it should be in Chat. You also had a problem with williegoat posting a thread about music in Politics and Religion.

This. If the technology is superior, and affordable, it will win out.
Some "interests" are trying to rush the technology, and it just won't work out, at that pace. Physics isn't merely a suggestion. Progress costs money.

The forum has different sub-sections. Seems appropriate that a video about restoring a Fiero should be posted in General Fiero Chat. And it seemed odd that a thread about music was posted in Politics & Religion. I expressed an opinion about it. Not a big deal.

And what do you have a problem with, Cliff? No wait, let's make this much simpler. What don't you have a problem with? Hell, you probably argue about what time the sun rises and sets every day. And if someone were to present you with a chart, you'd just say it was "trash"!

I started this New Topic in January. I guess it seemed newsworthy and I guess I wanted to put YouTube's "The Electric Viking" on display.

The climate "thing" and everything that is connected to it, like EVs, is such a wide-ranging panoply of different things to think about—a veritable panorama, smorgasbord or even a kaleidoscope (as it were) of topicality—that it cannot be confined within a single forum thread. Human nature mitigates against it.

Think back to an old thread that hasn't been revived at any recent time. "The case against anthropogenic global warming." It went on for years and stretched to more than 100 pages(?) of posts, if memory serves me.

I guess I finally got tired of seeing it, so I moved on to other threads for anything that's related to "climate" or "climate change".

That was an "All You Can Post" buffet.

well there is the small problem of the accumulation of pollution
and the costs are not direct but long term planet wide disruption
coastal flooding factored in you gas car use over the last 100 years
or projected next 10 years impacts ?
deserts and refugees got that expense covered

sure one can hope the ''MARKETS KNOW BEST''
GEE when did that BS last get spewed here 2008 and BuSh2 and HIS depression

but if only direct instant costs are totaled up with the long term costs also
and like it or not if there was no gas tax = no roads nobody drives far or fast on dirt tracks
so maybe taxes and paved roads and interstates are a reasonable government function
