There is. we call it c4 and it doesn't take much, tho just little bits will make a nice hot fire and is good for heating up c-rations and a canteen cup of water, for nasty c-ration powdered coffee or cocoa which otherwise would just float around on top of the cold water in your metal canteen cup. ...
