We don't have to go back in time to prove this will fail. Look at the "Shiny City on a Hill", America. They declared it a utopia for all and opened the gates in 1965ish. Today we're in a crime infested ess-hole plunged into national financial slavery to private banks.

Even here in China they learned that capitalism is the best system for building wealth. The rulers still rule using all the utopian rhetoric, but good old fashioned profit drives every single citizen since 1978.
