Well, since you quoted me, I have to assume that response is meant for me. Doesn't matter, until one has walked in another man's shoes, he really doesn't have a concept of what the other is going through. But, I'll agree, having a "Man Card" means very little to me. Meeting life's challenges and dealing with them is something we all have to do.

Not you personally, man...

Just the whole "Man Card" idea...all that sheet we do as men, thats the fun side of having a dick.

The reality is a lot less fun.

Thanks for that.

I agree, and thanks also Don.

My, that is an impressive man card. Lucky for me, I don't have to play mine against yours.

Hmm. I might have a chance. You only had to face the North Vietnamese Army. My foe is also formidable. The Wife.

In a game of poker one must consider the opponents other cards. She has a pair of tits, a hole card, cooks good, and is beautiful.

I will be offline for an undetermined time. Unhooking the computer, moving to San Antonio.

Part of the reason I started this thread.

there are far worse places to live.. I remember she has been trying to talk you into moving to old Bexar for some time now. You will be living in the shadow of hallowed history and greatness.
Good luck.

Been through there a few times, looked like a nice place as I remember.

Should you decide to move that pickup we previously discussed, let me know. My friend and I still have an interest.

Thanks Don, for the sentiment. It does not help as I have lived in San Antonio since 1968, when the Hemisphere was held in San Antonio, and we built the Hemisphere Tower. Since 1968 except when I was off roughnecking and when I moved to Bandera and Kerrville. Close enough to these hallowed grounds that I can get here in less than an hour.

Been here, done that. I am uniquely qualified to know the lessor known jewels of San Antonio, and will again enjoy them. Also, there is a reason God needs me here, .

The "free falls" were prior to flight school. Although I did fly for the parachute club a few times while serving in S. Korea.
Nothing like have a full load, pulling a lot of power and all of the "load" jumps off at the same time.
The end result is like being on a rocket assisted elevator. Up she goes!!!
