Oh that ship sailed. Children are pretty much taught the opposite of morality now. Plenty of folks warned of it.

The Anthropogenic Global Warming or AGW Affirmation team has just gained some yardage against the AGW Skeptics team.
I wouldn't call it a "chunk" play. It's not a 20+ yards "highlights reel" kind of play. More like a "quick out" or a "dig route" on First and Ten that yields an easy 5 yards.
The really curious can see for themselves.
"Earth used to be cooler than we thought, which changes our math on global warming"
quote | The last 12,000 years have been much cooler than previously thought, according to research published Wednesday in the journal Nature. And in contrast, human-caused warming of the atmosphere is even more anomalous than we’d realized. That’s because the study’s authors have found a new way to estimate historical temperatures which they say filters out seasonal shifts that had made past millennia seem warmer than they really were. |

Later in the report:
quote | “Even before the Industrial Revolution, greenhouse gases have been increasing since 6,000 years ago,” Bova says. But that increase is tiny compared to modern emissions. The concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increased by about 20 parts per million between roughly 4000 BCE and 1850 CE, she said. By comparison, it’s increased by about 100 parts per million just since 1950. |

One last post in this thread from me, where I'd debated rinselberg many times. RIP, Rusty.
