long time no see. i see not much has changed here.

to old friends, too many to mention by name. you know who you are. it's good to see that you are well, or getting better(123).

and some of you are still seriously messed up. do something about your anger before you hurt yourself (well, if you insist) or someone else.

i may drop in a year or so, just to see. y'all take care.

who knows, i might pass through again in a couple of years. y'all take care, now, hear?

Hey lurker, so is it October that brings you out today? I also do not have any Fieros, I hope that changes but being in CA its not going to happen anytime soon.

Lurker, nice to see a friendly PFF username from the past.

These days I normally reside in the tech areas of PFF, but occasionally I'll take a peek in O/T. Still plenty of venom present. It seems that divisiveness is the name of the game. It's kind of sad actually. I don't blame anyone for feeling reluctant to continue posting in O/T.

No hurting myself or anyone over here. Enjoy life man. There is too much going on in the morning to worry about the afternoon.

Not everyone has Tim Horton's Coffee to keep them right in the morning!

I still have my Fiero, but it's been in storage for literally 8 years now. I see it on holidays when I visit my parents (it's in a storage unit that I pay monthly for, like an idiot). I actually had a dream two nights ago that I was driving my Fiero. It was awesome... the sound was a bit different, I almost can't even remember what it sounds or feels like.

The scary thing is... I almost think that by the time I get in the car again... it'll be easily a decade. My 1987 Fiero SE / V6 was the car I drove from the age of 18 to about 21. I have so many memories in it. I always remember the visual of all the old guys at the Daytona car show back in 2000, trying to get in and out of their Fieros. The'd grab onto something to lift themselves out, or they'd just have to "fall into" the car. I remember seeing that when I was like 18 and 19... and I don't really remember what I thought of it other than, damn... that sucks. I'm 41 now, and while that's not really "old", it's certainly twice what my age was back then.

I haven't /really/ driven my Fiero but once or twice since 2005. And even then, it was never the same since I spun a main bearing in 2000. I had the engine rebuilt, but the new cam wiped out a lobe so the car fell flat at 4,200 rpms when you'd floor it... it just got progressively worse after that. So really... it's been almost 20 years since I've *really* driven that car.

I live 1,500 miles from my Fiero, but one day I hope to drive it again. Before I put it into storage, I was going through a complete renovation of the car. I'd completely re-done almost every part of the car from the front to the firewall. I haven't yet rebuilt the rear suspension, or pulled the motor, etc... but I was in the process of installing a 5-Speed Getrag. EVERYTHING else is done, except the actual transmission, hahah...

Sorry, I know I'm rambling, but seeing you pop in here, brings back all the old times.

It's a little scary to think that when I eventually do get my car put back together and running well... it's been so long that "I" will be that old guy struggling to get in and out of my Fiero. Blows my mind. Life is really short...

My dad made it to 95 years of age, and he was still able to get in and out of my lowered Formula... so you should hopefully be fine for awhile yet!
