Tons of 20 year olds own records. I find it inconvenient. You can text to 911. I earn 1-5% cash back using my card. I didn't think he was funny. We all obviously know I'm well over 20. My kid has respect for guns and knives. She's in the demographic he's talking about, though she's still a teen. As far as acronyms. Their generation used them all the time. Xoxo. Swak. Asap. Not defending that generation, but every generation thinks theirs was better.

Thanks for posting, enjoyed. Those old dial phones were indestructible, slammed them down many times. He was right, I remember our house's first number from the '60's, which was Oakland 4 7100

The first phone I remember had a speaker that you held to one ear and you turned a crank with the other hand. That got you Blanch at the switchboard down in town, you told her who you wanted and she connected you. By 1958 or so, they upgraded us to rotary phones. Who remembers party lines? Had them here well into the 80's.
