Has Spidey ever had a Venom "lookalike" suit? A suit made of fabric that resembles the Venom suit.

Spiderman was the original wearer of the symbiote "Venom" suit..

Looks the same as Venom except spidey's eyes are smaller, and not all crazy looking like Venom.

So technically Peter Parker was "Venom" before Eddie Brock became the Venom we all know.

But Spidey picked up the black Venom suit during the mid 80's, during a comic event known as Secret Wars, and wore the suit pretty much exclusively for about a decade.. The suit didn't take over Spidey like Venom.. Spidey still had his own mind, ect.. But wearing the suit did enhance his spider powers and strength even more than it was.. But it also made him very aggressive and violent. Eventually he discovered the suit was a living entity (a symbiote) and he removed it from his body using the sound waves from a church bell..

WIth what we now know about the symbiote suit, has Spidey ever wore a fabric symbiote "look alike?"


Its beeen 25 yrs, but the mid 90's spidey cartoon, had Spidey in the symbiote suit, and I swear thay he also made his own symbiote look alike suit. Lol, for some reason I am collecting Spidey suit first appearances...

Yeah he always wore the black suit in Amazing and Spectacular.. But for whatever reason in Web of Spiderman he usually still wore his red and blue suit. But i don't believe the stories in "Web" were considered part of Spidey's main cannon stories (Amazing and Spectacular. )

I still have my black suit Spidey action figure from the 80's lol..
