Thanks for posting this. I find Chernobyl to be one of the most fascinating places/events I have ever read about. Fukushima is, as well, but it's difficult to compare the two of them. Chernobyl was a "one-off". Fukushima is kind of like the "gift that keeps on giving". Granted, both of them immediately rendered large swaths of landscape uninhabitable for decades/centuries, but Fukushima continues to pollute because of the continuous flooding with water, in order to keep it cool, and stop it from melting even more. (At least I think that's still going on.)
