Interesting. I would have a harder time joining forces with something I didn't believe in to fight something else I didn't believe in. But I can undestand the stance on communists.
A comment on the article says: "A very abbreviated look at Lauri Torni’s life. Torni, along with a select group of Finnish officers, were trained by the Germans in 1941. Unfortunately for them, all foreigners were trained by the Waffen SS, and he carried that stigma for the rest of his life. The Finns refused to swear an oath to Hitler or Germany and generally considered the Germans to be pompous and overbearing. Read my book: “Soldier Under Three Flags” or Mike Cleverley’s “Born A Soldier” to understand this very complicated man. He remains a national hero in Finland"
