'Trifecta Of Trouble For Trump' . . . but one question alone is at the top of my mind (Page 1/1) |

In an exclusive interview with MSNBC's Ari Melber, Trump's former personal attorney Michael Cohen, Melania Trump's former advisor Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, and the daughter-in-law of the Trump Organization's Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg (Jennifer Weisselberg) provide an inside look into the ongoing civil and criminal investigations into the Trump Organization and its ranks.
Air date: March 24. 12+ minutes.
It's there if you want it. Any of it. You could look at how it starts and then move on before it ends. "Infotainment" at its finest. But you don't have to look at any of it, if all you want to do is to engage with the central point that's being put across by this forum post. About the question that is uppermost in my mind.
Are you ready for it?
If Stephanie Winston Wolkoff's testimony leads to serious legal consequences for the former President or anyone close to him, will it be reported by the New York Times or any of its media ilk as a "Wolkoff"..?
A "Wolkoff"..! Get it? You know, like a "walkoff" (or "walk-off") Home Run? Or a Run that scored on a Wild Pitch or a Bases Loaded Walk? On a Fielder's Error or a Passed Ball? A Hit By Pitch? A Steal of Home ("Stop the Steal") or even a Balk? When the home team scores the winning run in the bottom of the 9th or in extra innings and the game ends right then and there, without the Third Out of the final half-inning ever being recorded. An Out that doesn't exist because it Never Even Happened.
It was one of the most dominating games of age 39 Adam Wainwright's long and storied career. The St Louis Cardinals "righty" kept the Cardinals' NL Central Division rivals, the Chicago Cubs, from scoring any runs in the first eight innings. All he allowed was a single and a walk, while striking out seven. He almost hit a home run. It was the nationally televised Sunday night game on ESPN, on May 23. The final score? Cubs over Cardinals, 2-1, in a 10-inning game.
OMG, how do I come up with these things? I've got to stop before I laugh myself to death!
For G_d's sake, what is it with you 'man'..?[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 05-25-2021).]

'Almost hitting a homerun' is akin to being 'almost pregnant'. There's no middle ground.

"Big Mike's" advisor should have advised him to shave his armpits better..... and more often.

It will come to nothing as all the other outlandish bullpucky against possibly the most significant president of our lifetimes. Four years ago I would not have been ready to say that without dread, but with a Democrat in office now - with half a century of political experience-that is screwing up so much so quick with the most unlikable VP ready to step in I'd expect a conservative swing so hard in 2022 that there will be liberals propelled into the sun.
