Cobb County golf course killings. (Page 1/2)

Any locals know how safe and affluent this neighborhood is?

Sounding like it is an illegal they're looking for. When you signal that rules and laws don't matter (as in allowing illegal invaders), you get a vibrant culture that will enrich honest, contributing Americans to death because laws don't really pertain to some.

KENNESAW, Ga. - Three men were found dead on the tenth hole of Pinetree Country Club’s golf course on Saturday afternoon. The incident has left the community shocked and grieving.

It was 2:21 p.m. when police said they got to the call to come to the clubhouse located at 3400 McCollum Pkwy NW in Kennesaw around 2:21 p.m. Saturday. About 1,300 feet northeast of there, a white Dodge Ram 3500 was seen teetering on the edge of one of the two sandtraps surrounding the tenth hole.

A witness shared this photo of a white pickup truck on the tenth hole at Pinetree Country Club’s golf course in Kennesaw, Georgia on July 3, 2021.
Law enforcement vehicles quickly filled the intersection of Frey Lake Court and adjacent Club Drive NW which leads to the tenth hole. Police said they first found an unresponsive man with an apparent gunshot wound to the head on the green. He was later identified as golf pro Gene Siller, who served as the director of golf at Pinetree.

Nearby residents and members of the club believe he was killed because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

These effing idiots need a brain transplant! So he wasnt supposed to be at work at that time? That crime was going to happen anyway?! Because vibrant cultures allowed to invade are just going to enrich us?! Idiots. He was at the right place at (maybe) the wrong time, maybe at. But this is his work place. Gawd people are stupid.

"No one would set out with calculated evil and do something wrong to Gene," said neighborhood friend Rand Eberhard. "There’s no way that anybody had a premeditated agenda."

Investigators said two more bodies were found in the back of that pickup truck, one of whom was Paul Pierson, the owner of that truck. Cobb County police have not released the third man's identity.

Police believe the killer abandoned the white pickup he was driving after shooting Sillers and took off on foot.

Apparently, you know something the rest of us (or at least me) don't know. Nothing in the posted article made me come to that conclusion. Not suggesting you're wrong, I just don't see where or how you came up with that conclusion.

This true.

Being in the path of a bullet after it is fired is indeed the wrong place to be at the wrong time.

A stray bullet killing is the wrong place and time. The gawd damned killer was in the wrong place at the wrong time because he came from the neighborhood next to the course and murdered them at their work place minding their own business where they should be. This murderer put 2 of the bodies in the truck and tried to flee after head shooting the one.

On the illegal that i suspect, the first clue is the lack of a description of an active shooter on the loose. So, you dig a little and eventually you discover a "long haired suspect" description. A little more and they leak that it's an "hispanic" that fled on foot.

My guess comes in at this point.

There has been no description of the killer. No one was there except the golf pro who apparently confronted the driver of the truck, and that pro was shot in the head. There is no 'hood' anywhere near there. At this time, it could be said that the killer was the CEO of a multi-national corporation, or as you said, an illegal invader from the hood. No one knows.

AwWrong!
Description were found yesterday. If you ID as Hispanic it's not a slight to you. The charge I'm suspecting is an ILLEGAL ALIEN.

Multiple descriptions of long haired person only. One found stating Hispanic.

Nobody said it's the hood. Please read the question in the opening and answer if you happen to know.

"Hispanic is about the first thing stated in the blurb of a standard search.

The suspect was described as 6-foot-1 with long hair, wearing a white or light-colored shirt and dark work pants.

Police should check the area for laborers working ona a home in the nearby neighborhood. Considering the desperate nature, there is probably an attack on a resident there too.

My first impression when I saw the "long haired" description was a drunken White trash idiot joy riding on the course and got yelled at, but it wasnt his truck if I'm reading it right.

My reference to no 'hood' anywhere near was to assert that it was a more upscale area. The golf course backs up to the Kennesaw State College campus, I believe. Sorry for the confusion. At the time I posted, I had heard no descriptions of the suspect. Actually, at this time, I still haven't. I've been gone all day and haven't seen or heard any news broadcasts.
sourmash JUL 06, 07:19 PM
I probably was too quick to take it personally when I shouldn't have at all.

So latest report appears to say the suspect killed the first 2 men and then Mr Golf Pro who went to see why a truck was on his course.
The report goes on to say there's no threat to the public at large. More bullchit. If someone surprises this guy, they could be dead quickly.
Raydar JUL 06, 10:25 PM
What I heard is that the golf pro was a "witness to a crime", and was killed for that reason.

I'm thinking this idiot drove across the golf course with two dead bodies in the bed of his truck, and was confronted by the pro.
The idiot realized that he was likely to be "outed" by the pro, and killed him, to eliminate the... witness?
Very short sighted, at the least.

Edit - And yeah, that neighborhood is probably one of the safest in the state. (Every household in Kennesaw is required, by law, to own a gun. The crime rate is absurdly low. You may have heard about it.)
This particular situation? Got no clue. I chalk it up to random madness. I'm completely serious about that. It just doesn't happen there. Right up until it does (or did).

They made an arrest on Thursday. They have identified the owner of the truck found in the bed as Paul Pierson and the other man as Henry Valdez of California. I missed the details this morning, but I heard something about a rapper. Don't know if it was one of the victims or the murderer.

Edit: Just caught a repeat of the broadcast. The murderer was an Atlanta based rapper known as B Rod. The owner of the truck was from Kansas.
