Allen West on border crisis: Texas sovereignty has not been protected by Biden admin
Lt. Col. Allen West argues residents of The Lone Star State have been suffering from illegal immigration surge.
Saying that he can no longer "sit on the sidelines," Allen West on Sunday announced a run for Texas governor, launching a primary challenge against Republican Gov. Greg Abbott.
I'll have to see where he stands on several other issues, including financial security for the state.
On surface, he sounds much better than actor Matthew McConaughey that has been hinting at a run for Tx gov as well.

When the choice comes down to somebody who is as accomplished as Col. West as opposed to somebody like McConaughey whose main accomplishment is pretending to be other people I personally don't find the choice so difficult.
Of course neither of them are actually in the race yet.... and it's Texas so it's none of my concern....

I think it goes without saying that MM will be the darling of Big Tech and the MSM so out-of-state dollars are going to flood into the state to support his run. Hopefully the 'undocumented immigrants' won't also be voting while they pass through to points north ...
